Many of you know Foxit Reader, the essential minimalistic alternative to Adobe Reader. But now I've thrown it out of the window for PDF-XChange Viewer.
Loads almost as fast as Foxit and has some great PDF editing features like sticky notes, simple geometrical shape drawing, etc.
Font and image rendering is slightly better than with Foxit (still not perfect but it's very early in development).

Quote:
"[...] The FREE PDF-XChange Viewer offers all the feature's you would expect such as support of all PDF file formats from Version 1.0 all the way to the latest 1.7 (Acrobat 8)

    [...]

In addition to all the standard features here are some of the features available in the PDF-XChange FREE Viewer:
    • Add Comments and Annotations to any PDF file (subject to security settings) - unlilke the Adobe Viewer which requires the PDF creation tool to be 'certified' by Adobe !
    • Markup pages with text and objects
    • Type directly on any PDF page, not just Adobe enabled forms documents - in Typewriter mode.
    • Export PDF pages or entire files to any one of the supported Image formats including BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PNG and many more ...
    • Extract text from a PDF page/File
    • Make your navigation of large or complex PDF files both simple and enjoyable swith the extended functionality of our 'Loupe' and the 'Pan' Window tools
And many more features such as Rotate and 'Save', Email files etc ...

Coming soon : Improved intial load speed, full JavaScript Forms support, Stamps, Advanced Type Writer formatting options, faster and improved JPEG2000 decoding/encoding and much more - all 100% FREE, with the PDF-XChange Viewer!

    [...]

    Also available as a Developer's Toolkit !"

Freeware is getting better and better. =D

It still doesn't work with my college pdfs. I'm getting blank pages, which I guess is better than Foxit's way of simply not opening them at all.

Sucks too, I could've used the functionality.

Pretty good.
Doesn't load any faster that Foxit, but not noticeably slower either. But it has loads of extra features. Sticky notes feature is the best one IMO. And the bookmarks show snapshots/screenshots of pages, something that foxit doesn't do I think.
