I had been using a combination of Zoom Player and VLC, but both of them would eventually break. Zoom player would stop opening files on double click and VLC would stop embedding video in it's skin. But I found a new media player that's better than all of them:
The KMPlayer.
The skin it comes with isn't so great, but you can get more skins at KMPlayer.com. To really customize the skins like I have, you need to tweak a few settings in the skin.ini file, but it's really easy. |

Sponsor | | xique | Jan 13, 2007 10:09am | I agree. I found this one recently and it does everything that MPlayer and VLC does ... and then some! I really like the fact that it handles FLV files perfectly (seeking works without crashes) unlike VLC, MPlayer, ...
DVD playback is great too. Not to speak of the myriad of advanced functions and video filters. Very impressive.
